DC Smith Auto Sales began in 2022 as a small trade-only venture, supplying reliable vans to local businesses and fellow tradespeople.
After running our electrical contracting business for over a decade, I knew first-hand how important a dependable work van is — and which models genuinely stand up to daily use. That insight shaped the way we sourced and prepared every vehicle.
My passion for motor vehicles goes back much further.
From mechanical work and bodywork to motorsport — including karting, race cars and a short spell in speedway — I’ve always been hands-on with anything that has an engine. That background naturally evolved into a deep understanding of how vehicles should feel, drive and be maintained.
As demand grew and our network expanded, we opened our doors to the public in 2024, offering a wider range of Vans, Pickups and selected Used Cars & Bikes — all prepared to the same honest, no-nonsense standard that built our reputation in the trade.
Today, DC Smith Auto Sales operates as the retail arm of DC Smith Electrical Limited — active and verified on Companies House for over 12 years.
We remain a friendly, family-run business focused on clean-history vehicles, transparent pricing and a calm, no-pressure buying experience.
We’re based in a convenient semi-rural location on the edge of Leighton Buzzard, with on-site parking, customer facilities and a relaxed setting for viewings.
We’re also just a 5-minute drive from Leighton Buzzard station and can offer free collection for customers travelling by train.
